I see theres a similar current post on this problem! Last night the stereo sound volume stopped working, the **** didnt work, and sound was stuck at low. I pressed in the volume **** for 10 sec and let the car sit overnight.
This morning the stereo volume is working ok again. Idk should I let it be or replace the amp??? I see several on Ebay. Well this is what I get for driving an 18yr old car with 257,000 miles on borrowed time, things are going to wear out! But still cheaper to fix fhe car than get a new car payment $500 mo plus $150 mo for insurance!!
UPDATE: I found a place in Corona that has a ML amp for $185 Im gonna go get it. Stereo is ok now the volume is working but I want a back up amp.
But how do I know its the amp or the clogged vent?? Im looking at YT videos I see where the side vent is, the bumper has to be taken off partially to replace the vent??
