A shop did module repair? I'm shocked.

Sitting under the battery and being a vital component, i would have thought they were potted? IIRC they do have 4 screws, so maybe!?!

Used are cheaper than what I paid. But I’m fine with the fix. Code 1554 gave him the direction where to go. On top of that I’ve had 32 other codes. No check engine. I guess computer was going crazy.

That happens when all computers go under voltage and communication is lost. All kinds of random errors that mostly clear when battery/alternator are healthy.

same here 2008 is350 191k miles. First P/S light turned on, turned off car and engine check light went away car drove normal.

today started the car no light, steering was rock solid, drove forward stopped, turned off and on and was fine. But now felt wobbly while driving and loose.

I was reading forums I’m at risk it will lock up completely and will have to get towed. Now I’m scared to drive the car. At this point it’s probably the rack and pinion?would the module have such effect?
