06 250 Is not starting at all
I recently purchased an 06 is250 it’s my first car has 151,000 miles on it bone stock , i had left my car sitting for about a week outside due to my power steering module failing (part is on the way) , i just walked outside to check up on the car and start it up after it had been sitting for a bit and i went to put my foot on the brake and i noticed it was awfully stiff and i pushed down as much as it would go and pressed the ignition to start it and nothing at all no crank or anything , my check engine light came on and warning sign with the check vsc light came on but not a single sound from the engine, the electrical things came on like my dash and interior lights came on but after i tried it 4 times my dash started acting really weird and all my lights started flickering and eventually shut off leaving only my ignition button orange / green light on. Once i gave up i shut my door and tried to lock the car but it won’t even lock and the normal sound the car makes after pressing the lock button on the key fob doesn’t even come on like the car just completely died in every aspect. I would also like to point out that the car was running completely fine prior to all this i’ve had it for about 2 months now and about 3 weeks ago my check engine and check vsc light came on and i ran the code and it was the infamous P2757 code that appeared , i then had it cleared and it hadn’t came on since but then about a week later my power steering completely gave out and check vsc light came on but no check engine i then had it checked out and the pump is fine and good on liquid but the module is fried i guess( I’m in the nevada area so the heat is a bad thing here) , when i first got the car i went to get the battery checked and alternator checked and the readings where fine but i guess the starter failed and i then took it to my mechanic but i was told it was fine. Any help or ideas as to why this is happening is greatly appreciated i’m not to familiar with lexus and this is my first car so im a bit worried

Agreed because that's been true for both my IS250 and LS460. For whatever reason my truck's battery lasts ~4 years but the engine compartment is much more open and airy so its cooler around the battery area.
