Replaced my rear hub bearings about two months ago because they were making a whirring noise that was very irritating. After that the abs, trac, brake, awd, and vsc light came on. Also my speedometer and power steering stopped working. I found out through some research that my speed sensors were most likely damaged. I replaced them but no change. Then I drilled the holes bigger in the dust shield so that the would be properly aligned and after that the speedometer and power steering started working again.
After driving it for a couple weeks the lights were still on even though the speedometer and power steering worked. I scanned the codes and I got c0210, C0215, C1238, and C1239. The only thing I could think is wrong is that the rear speed sensors still aren’t working correctly because they are after market(but do match oem part number). Or that the tone ring is somehow messed up. What baffles me is that the speedometer reads accurately so to me that shows that the sensors are working fine.
Hopefully someone can tell me what is wrong. Or similar problems that they have had may also help me figure this out. Thank you for your time.
