I have a Japanese 2007 IS250. Last week, the reversing camera's signal died - I now just have a grey, slightly flickering display.

The camera was always a bit rubbish, particularly in low light, so I was thinking about replacing it. It has a four-pin molex connector and I've got as far as disconnecting it from the car.

After-market cameras seem to vary dramatically in price. I was thinking of this one from AliExpress. Would this work? It claims to support 12-24v. I'll obviously have to remove the original molex connector. Does the 2007 IS250 use AHD 720P?

I'm not a car guy, so I'm just blustering my way into this...

I replaced my backup camera a few months ago, I used off of amazon. The actual angle of the camera doesn't really matter as long as it is an RCA output. Easiest way to replace the camera is to remove the carpet on the the trunk where the camera is, pull the original camera out, and cut off the connector. Once you cut off the connector, just match the wiring of the new camera to the connector you cut and test it. If you are really delicate with it you can save the foam to keep it water tight, but if you're like me and wanted it completely fresh you can use something like to make your own little o-ring.

There are 4 wires on both the connector and the camera I linked, but all backup cameras with an RCA output should be relatively the same.
The connections on the car go:
Red - Positive
Black - Negative
Yellow - Video
Black - Trigger Wire

It is confusing figuring out which black wire is the trigger wire the first time, but if my memory serves me correctly, then the order of the pins should be something like the picture below.
