This is probably the best looking rendering so far IMO. Wonder how much truth there is when it reports that the IS350 gets 315bhp while the IS250 has 215bhp, and that only the diesel-powered IS220d is offered a manual transmission. Could be only the UK versions though.

Here's the original thread BTW:

You can't tell US configurations from UK ones.
315HP - whatever happened to Lexus not getting into the HP wars.

As some one mentioned in the original thread the angles are all wrong. The front is too long. Maybe if it was a coupe it would be believable, but thats a long nose. and that looks like a pretty long sedan..but its still just a rendering. The article with the blue IS mentioned no manual transmission in the IS350. only the IS250. Lots of conflicting info on that topic

THAT CAR IS GORGEOUS! It has the look of the LF-C...in fact a LOT of the car is taken from the LF-C...and it does have resemblance with the new GS..and it seems to be about 3/4 the size of the new GS.

I think its goign to be VERY close to this pic!! Good find!!!

The IS we were shown did not have the lights on. Like the new GS and the latest Lexus models that have been released i.e. ES, LS, SC and etc, the signature yellow fogs looks like it's phased out unfortunately.

I like it! I like the IS now, but this is hotter! I need dimensions to see if it will fit in our garage!

I have direct information from person who has seen new IS in real life. The car has strongly borrowed lines from the LF-C conecpt and looks really stunning. Wide and with low roofline etc.

Have to agree with you. That rendering of the IS is really hot. In fact, I like it much better than the new GS design. I think if lexus comes out with that style and a 315hp engine, I would buy that anyday
over the new gs430
