I dont think you can see the curves due to the magazine folding and bad pics, but it looooooks goooood.... Just like it should.

Yes I'm only basing my observations from the pics I can see here, they're far from perfect of course & may not be 100 % authentic, but the one on page 1 has smoother curves especially in front which I prefer. I'd say the one scanned from "CAR" is already an improvement over the current if it's 100 % authentic.

yeah i agree. this one is a bit disappointing to me. but pictures dont usually do the justic. so we'll have to wait and see the official picture. it's looks like a mini version of the new GS. i think this is the one. looks very close to the outline sketch posted on lexus europe website.

Those photos are the real deal. Like I explained time and time again, the rear tails are more rectangular than the renderings and it is a 3/4 scale version of the new GS.

Aside from the front end which looks a bit too exaggerated IMO, the car looks great. I really like it.

IS300.NET has pics of a much higher resolution.

Although I must say I love this rendering so much more... I'm quite a bit let down...sigh.

As usual, most of the renderings look better than the real car just like the new GS

But this one is not as much of a letdown than the GS, I think I can still like this IS, but the rear looks much too square if you ask me, reminds me a little of the old Celica of the 80's.

Well, we'll know for sure in a couple days when we see better pics from different angles . . .

From the profile, it reminds me more of the G35 than anything else, but it also reminds me of the E90 3-series, too.
The front is distinctive, mainly due to the shape of the ducts next to the fogs.
The rear has a sinister visage to it, kind of like it's glaring at you.
I wish the interior photo was better quality, but it looks like it has a long thigh bolster, which is big for me. I could never sit in the old IS for more than an hour before my legs started to spasm. Come to think of it, every Lexus I've driven save for the RX300–*'93 ES, '01 IS, and '02 GS4– has had seats that didn't suit me at all, leaving me more fatigued than normal and/or with various pains after any drive longer than an hour (and no, it's not due to changing the seating position; I use the same seating position, fairly upright, every time I drive). Part of it is due to the seat cushion not being long enough for my tastes. My favorite seats are BMW's sports seats, with the adjustable thigh bolster, which allow you to lengthen the seat cushion by a few inches. It helps a great deal. If the thigh bolster really is significantly longer than the old IS's, Lexus may just get my money.

Cant wait, eh? I am going to hate myself soon, if I dont get to go to Geneva as planned it will mean I missed two biggest european events this year....grrrrr! I was supposed to go to european barcelona dealer event where new Rav4, Aygo, Yaris and even Corolla were shown but couldnt and now it seems that geneva is most likely wont be possible... and they would pay for all of it, grrr! I want to touchy touchy the new IS, new RX400h and GS300...

I wonder exactly how much information we'll get tomorrow. I'm thinking that we'll for sure see the official pics of the sedan and get all of the information on the IS250 and IS350...But I wonder if we will also see the coupe/convertible hardtop and Sportcross (if the rumors are true)?
