Depends on if you consider the rear-drive Chevy Silverado "Hybrid" a true hybrid. It basically shuts the gas engine off at stops and not much else...it does not run on true electric power.
If it's not powered by two sources then it's not a hybrid of any sort.

If it does have an electric motor that powers the vehicle, then as long as it uses it in conjunction with the gas motor's somehow then it is by definition a hybrid.

This is good news b/c I am very interested in fuel economy for my next ride, as gas prices are soaring. A GS 450h maybe out of reach but a ISh would be perfect for me.
