Question and Lexus Reading
Ok, so I was all excited when the pics came out about the new IS I was ready to go ahead and buy one to replace my LX, but now I learn that the IS350 is not going to come in a manual transmission!! Is this true fact, or rumor at this point?
Lexus if you are watching this board, if the 350 has a manual, you have one sale right now. If not I will go and get myself another car. I hate to do that because Toy's/Lexi have been the best cars ever. BTW If it comes with one, I will take black on black, loaded out. Unless you put some active steering or other electronic nannery I do not need/want. Thanks!

I don't even buy this manual transmission only sells a very small % argument, as I understand the IS350 will be offered world wide, & >80 % of the cars in Europe & Asia & probably the rest of the world still have manual transmissions. I hope they will eventually offer a 6MT IS350.

At this point, the info everyone is bouncing around is pure speculation. We will have to wait and see until we get actual press released from Toyota/Lexus on the transmission offerings. Sure it may not sound like a 6MT is coming, but that didn't stop Lexus on the 1st Gen IS to offer a real Manual tranny for 2002.

That press release is due in few days right? About March 23, if I remember correctly. It is such a cool car though and I really think the inside destroys the E90, that interior looks dated and its brand new.
