I can't read Japanese any, but I wonder if that "320" on the top left of the picture means "320 horsepower?"

I'm not a big fan of that color, but it's nice to see it in something other than silver. I'm thinking white will be what I get.

I think that's 320PS or right around 315HP - the same number that was on some European press release. For the risk averse US there probably won't be a color choice like that.

ahhh it's so high up in that pic, and the color isnt the best

but 315hp would be nice.... prob would be better if that said 320kw, and it ended up being 429hp haha

That does say 320ps alright.

Anyone notice the new wheels? Don't look particularly good IMO. Hopefully there'll be more wheel choices.

I thought there was something off with the wheels... and didn't they offer that color, or a similar one on the 97 LS?

Yes it does say 320 hp but it's still not anything official from Lexus but just another mag.

That green doesn't look very good(PC ?) & reminds me of the color of a 80's Mazda 626 a friend of my uncle used to have . . .

That is one MEAN looking pose for the new IS!!!

Lexus will not be calling it Seaweed Green !!!

Better call it Sargasso Pearl or something like that...

...I am completely in favor of more wild, flashy and unique colors for the new, younger IS. Even if the Sargasso Pearl is a little 'out there.'

That color is called "Cypress Pearl" and is on the current '06 GS and '05 LS. Probably they will have the same GS colors on the new IS is my guess.

I just looked at the Cypress Pearl swatch on an '05 LS brochure. The brochure swatch looks nicer and a little more subdued. The way colors can vary from swatch to printed magazine to scanner to computer monitor, though, I think there's a 90% likelihood that that color is indeed Cypress Pearl.

LOL our LS is Cypress Pearl, and although the brochures and pics may make it look like this pic, I can assure you that is not Cypress Pearl. This color looks like 'Neon Cypress Pearl.' Incidentally, there is another shade of green on the '05 ES and it's not Cypress Pearl either, also a dark green.

Oh right, I forgot about the ES "Oasis Pearl" or something close to it. Although I highly doubt they would cross over the ES colors to the new IS. Two different selling markets. I hope Lexus does some sportier colors on the new IS. Even the Scion TC has some new colors, what I nicknamed "Candy Colors". Anything other than the usual 3....black, white, and silver! Oh well, I guess only time will tell.
