What happened to the aluminum pedals, the metal shift **** and the overall sportiness of the IS. I'm not used to the wood in it still. I prefer not having wood. Everything else is pretty good. I'll be missing first generation IS for sure tho . Change is good.....sometimes i suppose

You are right. Lexus doesn't have a dealer network yet (til' August 2005).
They do however have a training facility (and perhaps their main HQ) inside the FUJI SPEEDWAY. It's not a car dealership though.

As for me, the car looks neat in that color and the way the light blends in with that paint is quite splendid IMO.

But what color is this (pic above) I'm confused, it is light blue, light grey or actually a white color? I sorta like this color, in this pic it sorta reminds me of the older SC models that had the light blue color. But if this is really a white pearl than I don't want white color car. It also depends too on the interior color one is forced into getting with this color, I want black interior or possibly grey.
Still confused about this color.

That light blue metallic color looks the same as the GS450h photos we've seen from Toyota corporate.

Cool!! This sounds like a very possible color for me, I like it from this pic above and if it's more of a diamond silver that would be great. This color would be great for Florida with hot temps and I bet it wouldn't show dirt easily like a darker color would.
Will have to wait for interior color choice. Definately don't want tan interior.

my.is classifies it as the Glacier Frost Mica offered in the '06 GS, and I tend to agree.

But still, it's hard to tell from the pics really. The lighting has too much to do with what we see in the pics after all.

i tend to agree with flip on this one - i think it's the same metallic powder blue that was shown on the GS450h in NY. i have the glacier frost GS and have never seen it this blue in color, even under similar lighting conditions indoors. it looks most blue on cloudy days, but even those days it's barely this blue. here's cloudy vs. sunny:

Don't get me wrong I like the new IS interior, just wish it was following the sportiness of the current IS. It won't deter me from getting a new IS though. I can buy some damn aluminum pedals.
