That's a great article. A little bit difficult to read, but still great. If I read this correctly, they say that they think the Honda Legend will be the one to give it difficulties..?

The IS looked TIGHT in the last 30 seconds of the video

[EDIT] The center console had brush aluminum!
are you sure that's brushed aluminum? looks like silver-painted plastic to me. anyway, if you look closely, the same material is on the door-window switches, which it is not on the official lexus pics. weird.

With that painted silver center console, I prefer to have wood around the shifter area. With brush aluminium, I don't think it' ll match too well with the painted silver above, like we see in the RX400h.

If its brushed aluminum I hope it's real...and done well. I think the RX 400h looks cool with the aluminum.

man, if i ihave to be mean, i will sya that the lexus is doing a very bad job on the initial marketing. those older pics we have all seen are nice, but somehow these pics taken at the track are just sooooo sexy and nice!

i have different feel about the car now

I totally agree. The first pics were very conservative, while these ones (Since it's 'unofficial' pictures) show a lot more!

Anyhow

How can you tell that pic has no wood???

I can't tell it's too small to say. Can anyone blow this up to tell???

I have crossing my fingers for a sporty brushed aluminum.

I like the red one the most, followed by the light blue IS 250.

It's now time to visit the "Fuji Lexus College" and get a sneak peek on tons brand new Lexus vehicles. Can't wait

i think the easiest way to tell that it is simply painted plastic is that it doesnt' look any different in texture or color (in fact, it looks exactly the same) as the painted plastic up top.
