Actually it looks like the picture was taken about 7.2 miles away from the position on the map as indicated on the left side of the screen.

Wait until you see the screen in person though. It's a sight to behold.

Default Speed

But if you want to nitpick, i hate the idea of the tach being on the right and speedo on the left. It's not conventional Toyota/Lexus placement for these guages.

I'm wondering if Lexus was influenced by BMW's tach on the right and speedo on the left.

I have placed my order with the local Lexus dealer (IS 350), but I'm having a hard time waiting!

Good catch! Lexus must've purposefully done this to make the transition for the current owners of the 3-Series as painless as possible.

It's a good possibility. But Toyota/Lexus does this switch over form time to time. Look at the GX470, the Tach is on the right side as well. It's always flip flopped, for the most part, traditional Toyota is left hand tach. I'm just used to it being on the left coming from a long history of Toyotas.

Thanks filp for the pictures! those pictures are amazing!

Pearl White looks amazingly good. But past years, all my cars had been white and i am thinking if i should get another white or not. I am torn between Breakwater Blue (or watever it is) and Pearl White with black interior.

Btw, seaweed green doesnt look too bad after all!

LOL. My last 3 cars were white. One Super white the last two Diamond White Pearl. I got silver to break the trend (w/the 04 IS300), but i keep reverting to white everytime i see like a White GS or IS.

I thought you were addicted to silver, flip.......like so many other car-buyers. That's the impression I got from reading your many posts.

Anyone actually like that green color?

Looks a little out of place.

Wait ... wait ... I think we have LED tail confirmation

Those clearly look like LEDS to me ... the more pics that come out, the better it looks.

I think it will look DAZZLING in person, just like the new GS.

I'm getting so excited now, can't wait to see the new ES and LS

I'm watching the 10th photo and I see a handbrake, not the foot "handbrake"!!!

Do they put a real handbrake in the model for Europe? Or only for manual transmission?Or do they change their mind, and put a real handbrake for all?

The foot parking brake is a big no-no for European market, I think. I am grad they put a handbrake.
