i dont see anypoint of skipping the IS350 and turboing or supercharging the 250. i think it's just a waste of money. pushing another extra 100 hps (so that you get the same power as 350) on already very high compression motor is not a good idea, IMHO.

the 250 engine is going to be pretty much all new, so i am not sure how long it is before there will b ea reliable turbo kits for teh car. and the 250 and 350 power difference is quite a bit, so maybe 350 is more worth it, and then you turbo the 350
but for me, i go with andrew, i want a coupe with mt and the 350 engine

At first, I was thinking the chances of a 2 door would be close to 0%.
But the more I look at pics of the new 4 door coming out.. it would only make perfect since for them to come out with the 2 door.. since they seem to be trying to face head on with the g35 and 3 series. With that in mind.. I'm thinking it is more of a 50% chance of it happening by next year. And with that i-s like 2 door concept that came out not long ago.. it only backs it up even more.. we'll just have to wait and see!! (they may just pull an infiniti and have the sedans sell for a few months before they break news on the coupe.)

Considerin how well the the 3 series coupe and the g35 coupe are selling, its a no-brainer for Lexus to tap into that market. The G35, despite popular opinion, still looks funky to me because the tire wells looks a little bit too small on the car. BMW has quality issues. The IS350 with 300hp should be a great challenger
