Nice update! Very comprehensive. Lots of new pictures of the car including all the interior color combos and other never before seen pics i.e. the puddle lamps.

Am I the only one not seeing the update? No matter how I delete my browser cache and restart, I see the same old IS pages at lexus.jp.

Can't speak the same for any of their other wheel designs, which are mostly quite good but nowhere near being reeeaaallly sexy.

The kit looks good too. Not sure about the front lip though. The white fogs are a must!
Damn Lexus for not making these standard.

I am sooooo ordering these options!!! I love the 15-spoke rims; it may not be chrome but they look really aggressive. Body kit and spoiler is a must after seeing it on the car. The HID fog lights would be a nice touch, but I don't think it's necessary, especially here in SoCal.

Looks great to me but remember this is not US website so U.S. may not have these options. I'd love to see the rear spoiler with a full pic of rear, I wonder if this bodykit will make the rear look less square? Rear spoiler could help with this possibly.

I just recieved an e-mail from Toyota Vehicle Services (I ordered my IS through the corporate office) that states that (1) my IS order is being made in Japan as we speak, and (2) that I can order my port-installed options with the Vehicle Services representative. These port installed options include the body kit, spoiler, special wheels, satellite radio, etc.

The problem: the Vehicle Services representative just went on vacation and won't be back til September 9th!!! I won't find out what options are available til then...

But as soon as I find out, I'll keep you guys informed.

What an awesome website! They should redesign the US webpage to be like that. They should also add some wallpapers to download. There are some sweet pics there.

My Japanese is a little rusty, but I think the Japanese IS can be equipped with a hard disk (30gb) music player for downloaded music. I hoped the US IS doesn't come with GREEN backlighting in the center console--that's so econo-carish.

You read it right man. They always keep so much good stuff in JDM it's just absurd. Why in the world do they think the feature won't be appreciated and make money for them elsewhere? Sigh..

Who needs an iPod anymore when you've got a 30GB HDD built-in?

Besides storing music, the page also says the HDD is used to secretly record your most frequently traveled roads, so after it learns your preferences for a while its recommended routes in the navigation guidance will become closer to your preferred ways. Just brilliant. Why are we not getting it?

fortunately we can hook up an I-Pod or MP3 player if one feels inclined. I am just glad it can play mp3--6 cd's of mp3 ought to play for a long time. I also noticed that JDM IS can be equipped with a in-car camera as part of the burglar alarm system.

An aux input is nowhere nearly as good as a built-in system, which allows collection management and track info display right on the touch screen!! I want it integrated dammit!!

The 30gb hard disk is ala Fujitsu-Ten (Eclipse 5495). I wish we can get that option for our IS systems. My friend has just installed this unit in his IS300, 30GB...forget the dangling ipod...and it has a sony magic gate memory stick slot for mp3's as well.
