but does the Fujitsu sound as good as Mark Levinson? Or is it a separate component altogether?

Believe it or not, the Mark Levinson system is mainly speaker/amp setup just like the JBL for Toyota models. Alot of the main components to the radio like with many other Toyota/Lexus/Scion models are either Denso/Fujitsu-Ten/Pioneer. All the Toyota/Lexus Nav interfaces are Denso/Fujitsu-Ten.

Sigh...2 days passed I'm still seeing the same old 2IS page.

Browsing lexus.jp however, I noticed in the GS=>Performance=>Power Unit page that they have the dyno charts of the 3UZ-FE and the new 2GR-FSE displayed side by side.

It's simply amazing how linear the power delivery is and how flat the torque curve (90+% of the peak torque is available from 2000rpm all the way up to the redline) is in the new 2GR than in the age old 3UZ.
Technologies sure has evolved for the better.

Thanks for the suggestion but... yeah, that's my default browser already. After Firefox kept showing the old page I then tried browsing the site with IE but still got the same thing, even with all the cache cleared.

Are you getting the new page now, ny888?

Nope, still getting the old pages.

I'm sure we're getting the content from a cache server that hasn't been updated.

rominl - can you see the new pages when you're here in the bay area ?

The site has been updated for a few weeks now and I can say that the way it was made was really neat.

Clean & smooth with neat flash movie/cinematics.

Here are some pics (from lexus.jp of course) which I captured.

JDM version Lexus IS in La Defense Business District in France:

More pics can be found on the "New IS spotted w/ camera crew... EDIT: pics from Lexus.jp" thread.

Yes!! I finally see it!! The curse has finally been lifted from whichever server was caching that 3-day-old thing.

What a beautifully crafted website. Stunning cinematics and gorgeous pictures of the car. Can't get tired of watching it.

It makes the US site look like a high-school project in comparison.
