I just checked out that thread.

Looks and sounds great! I really can't wait to get mine. It seems that the VDIM isn't as intrusive as most people think; I don't think that most people will push the car so much that they're gonna activate it in everyday driving. I'd rather be on my motorcycle than a car when pushing the turning limits at the canyons anyways. Also, I think that a manual 350 will please performance enthusiasts, but will it sell if most Lexus buyers prefer luxury far above performance? I think it will sell, not to regular Lexus buyers, but for other performance luxury car buyers that have never driven a Lexus before.

As for the looks of the car, it's very crisp. There was a concern with how the headliner is a different color than the leather and carpetting. It seems that the headliner is gray, whereas the seats and doors were ivory/beige. Now that's really getting nitpickey (did I spell that right?), but you really can't complain to much about the interior. Now, I don't know how tall or big the driver is (if you are reading this, please give specs), but it seems that there's plenty of room around the head and shoulders. Now the backseat might be a problem. Personally, I like lots of room at the backseat...

Ryan (FlipSide909) thanks for the real life review and pics.

Did you get any video? Also are there more pics? You didn't take any of the backseat (sitting in backseat showing real life knee room, headroom, etc..) Also any pics of the front seats/backseats, headliner, sunroof controls, trunk space

Something else that has never been addressed:

Seeing these pics of Ryan in the drivers seat inside, appears that the high door sills reach about to his neck or even higher, does this give the driver a feeling of being inside a cocoon (a closed in feeling), how does it feel from a driver's perspective regarding the cabin feel with the door sills being so high?

The seats are comfortable you mention... but how is the side bolstering? Do they keep you in place when you're thrashing the car left and right?? I think effective side bolsters are vital in any sport sedan or sportscar.

Guys, thanks to Ryan (Flipside909), I got the chance to look over the press kit and photos of the new IS on Sat. The car looks awesome man. Ryan test drove the the IS350 & said it had some serious power. He even took some some video of the experience.

As soon as his internet is back up, I'm sure he will post pics. Stay tuned...
