Lexus IS Photomosaic in Times Square
Does anybody know when this ad will appear on Times Square?
On TheNewIS.com site, it states that a live web cam will be set on September 3rd, which is the saturday of Labor Day Weekend. I am actually visiting NYC that weekend and want to see my five photos (vainly, two of which are of me). I think it would be nice to see myself in a Times Square ad at least once in my life...

The IS Photomosaic is Up and Running!!!
Hello Everybody!
I wanted to inform all of you that I went to NYC over the weekend and saw that the Photomosaic is up, sort of.
Not exactly what I was expecting. The starting photos are the same each and every time, dropping from all sides of the building and into the center . I don't know if they are the pictures that people turned in, but there is no variance between each cycle. Then the photos do not make a photomosaic, but rather just "disappears" into an actual image of the IS. After showing a few pictures/angles of the IS exterior, someone's picture (there were 975 sent pics at the time, as stated by the billboard) is then projected over Times Square for about 5 seconds. The picture is approx. 60 ft x 60 ft big.
Considering that it took about 20 seconds to cycle the ad, it would take approx 9 hours to show all 975 pics. I did not have time to sit in front of the billboard to see if mine would show up, but it's nice to know that my pictures probably are shown over Times Square at lease twice a day.
I'll post up some pictures when I figure out how to do so.
