You'll find a bunch o' pics here, including rear seat room with comparo to 330ci, and the transfer case hump on the AWD version that infringes a little on driver's right leg room. Rear seat room is cramped, but not uncomfortable - unless you have a 6+ footer driving - then driver's side rear is useless.

TLW's pics
Some of the dash pics that TLW is showing you are part of the menu system that you can use to turn on/turn off certain features of the IS. FOr instance the Tach indicator is the Blue led dial around the tach...it turns orange at the shift points. Also, this is the same menu where you could initialize, or change (there are 2 memory settings) for your tire pressure system (in case you have a set of track tires). You can also (from what I saw in the handout binder) turn off the adaptive front lighting system)
There is alot of technical wizardry and gadgetry in these cars - something the BMW die hards will never understand or appreciate.

Is that the dipstick I see in the engine bay pic back on page 4? I was afraid Lexus might follow the trend of getting rid of the dipstick in the engine bay like BMW and MB. I'd much prefer being able to check the oil and oil level visually than rely on the computer telling me the level. Plus, you can still use the Mityvac oil extractor with the dipstick.
Thanks for the great pics. Looks like you guys had a blast.

more pieces which run along the bottom of the car to further move the air better for less drag
so if you were ale to get your hands on those pieces ....i think you know the rest ..
i also asked why the engine covers pieces and those also aid in helping with airflow .
they told us why the door mirrors were the way they were and that was to help with wind noise
there is more but i have to remember
