Well - I'm off - camera in hand ready to make my way to an undisclosed location to see and drive the new IS. I've made note of some of your requests for certain pictures, and I will do my best to accomodate them.

I would also like to remind you that I will have an '04 330ci on hand and possibly a G35 variant on hand so that we can do our own side by side photo comparisons for interior seat room etc.

I MOST LIKELY will NOT be posting any pics tonight, but will do my best to get as many up and in the gallery as possible by the weekend. I will also do a write up after I accumulate comments of the others participating, and pass it on to Ryan -flipside909 and he will get posted onto the home page.

Be back is a few hours with a big ol' Kool-Aid smile on my face.

the location where this is being held should have spectacular backdrops for photo's....I know webmaster from MY.IS will be in attendance, so I expect some amazing pictures

I want to go dammit. I could bail out of work. Plus, I've got a Canon Rebel XT and a good command of the English language, as well as professional driving instruction and quite a few laps at Lime Rock in an SCCA class 2 porsche! Oh, and some drag time at Englishtown in my old 1971 Dodge Challenger (why did i sell you, why!!?!!).

1st things first - no need for the pi$$ing contest going on who drove first who saw it first. We're all friends here and looking to provide info to each other and the rest of our fellow enthusiasts.

Now for the good stuff - the new IS rocks!

I have to do a formal writeup for CL, so aI won't get into too many details here, but we had 10 guys from MyIS and CL combined there to drive, with 9 cars at out disposal, ranging from IS250 6sp man, IS250 AWD and IS350's. Personally I will be getting a 250AWD, but the 350 is an absolute rocket ship.

We had my friend's 330ci there and while it has about 2 more inches of room in the back seat you will see from some of my pics that it is not uncomfortable in the IS if you had someone back there.

Okay - now let me get to my camera and start downloading the pics, and then I will get them uploaded to the gallery ASAP.

Oh - I couldn't get my friend's G-Tech Pro - he had some emergency at home and didn't come to work today...sorry.

Here's a few quick ones - I'll have more tomorrow or next day. I also have some short vid clips, - would've been longer but my friend didn't like hanging out of the sunroof - facing backwards while we were ripping down some back roads or parkways at 60+mph.
