Note what it says under the chart. "Lexus estimates based on EPA procedures"

Default Ventilated seats

I think that the ventilated seats do cool the seats and the LS isnt the only car that has that - my dad's es330 has the seat cooler and it definitely gets cool - feels very bizarre down below - if you know what i mean...

The review states the IS350 automatic working in manual mode does not hold the selected gear - it can change down to a lower than selected gear just like the IS300 e-shift.

Can someone who has driven the car verify if this Is true?

The new IS' sequential shift feature works exactly the same like the old e-shift. It will shift up to the highest gear indicated. Defaults in first gear from any gear # you select and will upshift to the highest number selected via paddle shift or column shifter. This time the system allows you to go all the way down to 1st gear. If you don't shift, it will bounce of limiter. The car automatically defaults to 6th gear when you shift out of Drive into the sport shift mode.

Good find. Now's compare "Lexus's estimates" to the official ratings posted at lexus.jp and lexus.ca, summarized in my previous post.

Canadian MPG figures after conversion vs. JP figures:

IS250 RWD (auto) - 24.15 city/34.98 highway => 29.02 combined (27.76 per lexus.jp)
IS250 RWD (manual) - 19.99 city/30.82 highway => 24.86 combined (N/A for JDM)
IS350 RWD (auto) - 21.65 city/30.82 highway => 25.78 combined (23.53 per lexus.jp)
And here are the Lexus's EPA estimates:

IS 350 Automatic - 21/28, 24 combined
So it's closer to lexus.jp's numbers which are quite a bit lower than the lexus.ca's numbers. Still class leading figures nonetheless.
