Motor Trend Oct 2005 Review
Sorry don't have a scanner so you'll have to buy the mag for better quality. Here are some pics taken. I just picked up the mag today. 5 full pages inside. If someone can scan these in better than I will remove these.
0-60 Motor Trend tested 5.5. Same type review, saying it still can't beat the 330i.
I can't figure out these reviewers, Motor Trend says it took IS 10 extra feet to stop for braking. Car & Driver says the IS has the best in test for braking 70 - 0 feet. Totally opposite reviews.

I noticed in this article the reviewer was asking....How about a sport exhaust with the sport option pack?
I thought there was one??? or is that an option that this car possibly didn't have? Anyone know? (from the looks at the pedals, isn't this the sport package?)

i like it when they hate on the i-s (old or new).. makes me feel that much more special.
i won't be surprised to hear if there are more bimmers (than i-s') goin off mountain cliffs and/or into ditches.

Thanks for the great scans, XanaduSC!
"Driven moderately, even up to eight-tenths or so, the car feels solid and controlled." Well I guess that's good enough for me, but obviously not for any of the magazine test drivers.
The front/rear weight distrubtion ratio of 53/47% is different from the 52/48 in flipside909's spec data but does make more sense since the IS350 should be more front-heavy than the IS250 which also has a 52/48 ratio.
So they estimate a base price of $32k for the IS350!! I wouldn't be so optimistic even though I wish.
