FANTASTIC pics!!!! The IS really looks even better, if you can believe it...next to the SC 430, the redesign makes me think the IS seems a bit more 'expensive' than the SC...when really not the case, it's just that the car has so much presence now!!!

Great pics of the 'metal' non-wood trim...

Also I love that last hood shot.

Above the ML logo on the radio, is that a sticker with the "... indicator lights green" peeling off ?

NeonDan,

Thanks for posting the pics. Not only is that car a demo like you said, it is a preproduction, as it has a solid background around the Lexus "L" on the front grill.

Production will have the "L" set in a honeycomb backing (inside the oval).

Good to see they are getting the dealers brushed up on the car and thanks for sharing about the center console lid (slides to access some items, and then flips for others)

Great photos, thanks.

The IS looks great with the metallic interior trim. It's hard to find any photos without wood trim.

I believe that is the L-logo on the PCS/Adaptive Cuirse equiped cars. That's the "ray-dome" cover.

its a pre-collision car.....thats why the Lexus emblem looks like that....same with GS and a similar attempt on the LS

Thats one of the first batch of first production cars started August 2005. The hand built pre-production cars have a build date of May 2005 like the ones I drove below. The last 6 #s on the vin are 000002.
