Dealer cost is 3% below invoice. So my 42893 MSRP becomes 35577, which is about another $1000 under invoice.
The funny part is that the dealer still kept me waiting (an hour? more? i forget) while they "ran through" the paperwork, which is about as hard as filling out the top half of a 1040-EZ.

I just finished talking to the dealer and was offered an additional $200 below dealer invoice.
Irishman - Out of curiosity, what are the dealers actual costs? For instance, how much more below invoice can they go before it reaches actual costs? I was surprised that they could go below invoice when I heard because I had previously thought invoice was their actual cost.
Does the December to Remember event happen every year? Are there extra dealer incentives to allow the dealers to budge even more than the usual sales?

There is a 2% of MSRP hold back that Lexus pays the dealers. I believe there is also a couple of months of inventory fee that is reimbursed as well (something like $300-ish total maybe).

My deal:
Special order on a Black Sapphire 2007 IS350 with SPORT/NAV/ML/Park Assist for around $3100 off MSRP. I placed the order first week of September.
OTD price = $42,900. But, I have the Taste of Lexus $750 coupon, so my OTD price will actually be around $42,150.
I ordered from a dealership in Maryland.

Just got a '07 IS250 AWD with the HID's, wood trim, and preferred acc. for $33,000 before tax+fees. The MSRP was $36,522. CarsDirect.com says the invoice was $32,488. I think I got a good deal cause it was the end of the month.

All-weather Floor Mats
MSRP = $39,171

I would've done the shopping myself if I had the credit

But, I assume Lexus will do another series of Taste of Lexus again this fall, so if you can wait till then you'll get the $750 coupon if you attend.

Is it still possible to get a IS250 RWD with the ML package as well as Navi? I went to lexus.com and built my own IS but the highest package was with navi only. No option to add the Mark Levinson package? Did they take it off or is it a special order kinda thing?

Any Ideas? i plan on getting a IS250 soon maybe in the next months.

Kinda of a dumb question but when they have the sales does it apply to the used cars?
Also, does the Taste of Lexus coupon apply to used cars?
Im looking for a used 06 250 for about 30k
