Default The Lexus IS350 is the fastest..

1) Lexus vehicle to date
2) Naturally-Aspirated Toyota manufactured car
3) N-A Japanese production car
4) N-A V6 production car in the world
5) N-A 4-door sedan w/ automatic transmission

Please correct me if I am wrong on any (perhaps the latter ones?).
And please add to the list if you all can think of any more, thanks!

3) how about the nsx? and i think the 350z and g35 coupe could be just as fast if not faster
4) not sure about this neither. again the nsx should win easy
5) could be?

Could be but we have to wait to see what the real numbers turn out to be. Like Henry said above, the NSX still comes to mind. Even the 253 HP automatic NSX had mid 5 second 0-60 and mid to upper 13 second (Easy sub 14 seconds) 1/4 mile times. We can argue that production of the NSX will soon end, but that will be at the end of the 2005 year so technically it is still in production.

5 is wrong, as far as I can tell. The M5 springs to mind.. a couple benz's. Ya. Otherwise looks ok, minus the NSX stuff.

0-60 is verified by 3rd party as 5.3 sec. Thats not single mag test but actual 3rd party contractor that verfied the actual times.

The M5 doesn't come with an auto tranny so it doesn't count.

C55 is the only V8 AMG car that doesn't have a supercharger. That is, of course, until the new 6.3L AMG V8 arrives.

the c55 is not supercharged.... if it has the supercharged v8 then it's the same setup as the e55, you think people will still buy the e55? and the c55 would be mad fast coz' it's lighter

and btw, i think 4) is pretty restrictive. for v6 i don't know, like i said with the newer g35 and 350z i think it's a hard tie

but if you say just 6 cylinders instead of v6, the m3 will walk away with the trophie

I don't think either of the G35 or 350Z has ever posted a 5.3 sec 0-60 time...

Not really, the Carrera S beats the M3 quite easily.
