Yeah some nightime shots of the interior lighting not just the instrument but also the overall lighting inside, do the door sill switches light? How is the lighting overhead is it like the GS with the lights that point in certain directions for the pass & driver also the lighting around the shifter at night would be cool to see.

Thanks, let us know what your gas mileage is when you have gone thru couple tanks too.
I'll make sure to post some nightime shots tomorrow. I had a couple of the lights and things last night, but unfortunately they got all blurry, so I trashed them.

Gas milage for the first few gallons was TERRIBLE! I think it was 11.8 after the first 50 miles, but it should be picking up very soon. I'll post some more info on that after I break-in the engine a little more.

EDIT: Paid in cash.

I was able to negotiate $500 off plus lifetime tire replacement if I have my car serviced there.
Hmmm, so we have our first person that didn't pay MSRP. Boy that didn't take long. I told everyone that anyone who pays MSRP just didn't try. You should be able to get 500-1000 off the the car if you demand it.

Sure he got $500 off. Service departments are the cash cow of any dealership. The $500 they discounted now translates into revenue in a couple of visits in the service department in the long run.

Definitely let us know when you get that great deal below MSRP on that IS250 Manual you're looking for.

Nah, actually the $500 had nothing to do with the servicing. They added in the free tires if I got servicing done there. I'm not sure whether I'm going to use the dealership though...

Wow, free tires.... you could have a LOT of fun with a deal like that. I wonder how long it would take them to back out of a deal like that. I'd be in there about once every 2 or 3 months...

After paying as much as we are for these cars, $500 seems like a drop in the bucket but I guess every little bit helps. So my dealership offers something similar, I think getting free tires in return for service is the best, but second best would be this maybe? Paying upfront for all the major/minor service requires thru 40k miles (that's 8 appts) and you get a discount. I don't remember what the discount is but you pay $xxxx and that amount is supposed to be less than if you pay for it over the 4 years. I would definitely like to get this but I'm not sure I'm going to be near my dealership after 40k miles which for me is more like 2 years. I this a standard lexus offering (prepaid maintenance) or no?

One more request, when you take those interior night shots, can you take a pic of the steering wheel, I would like to know if the buttons on the wheel light up at night and how they look.

Thanks again.
