1. 2006 is350
2. RWD
3. Tungsten Pearl
4. Stocks
5. Lip Spoiler
6. Black int.
I'm from the GTA area in Canada but the car is American it was imported pretty early in its life. All service records up to date and recalls completed.
118k Miles
Im coming from a B16 swapped civic, so the power upgrade is nice but I miss driving stick at times.
Plans:
Nothing really to be honest. Maintenance, maintenance and maintenance. This was just a graduation gift from me-to-me. If anything I'll get some coils and minor cosmetic stuff (tints, wheels).
Other Considerations:
I was car shopping for about 6-7 months and pulled the trigger on the 350, but I was looking into 06-07 g35 coupes(too many annoying issues about oil consumption and terrible electronic system). Also considered an is250 AWD (for winter of corse) but way too many people mentioned the risk of carbon build issues and that the 350 with winter tires will be good enough.
I actually really wanted a FR-S, but I was turned off by the lack of knowledge that some of the dealers had about the cars. Plus they didn't really take me as a serious buyer. Regardless, I'm happy and it puts me in a better position financially anyways.
I'll post a picture soon once its picture ready lol.
Most likely going to keep the car for a couple of years and trade it for a newer Lexus.
RC or IS if I have little minions running around by then.
p.s I use the search button an extensive amount so I probably won't post many questions; as the majority of answers can be found somewhere here but I do want to say thank you in advanced to all of you that contribute.

Bought mine CPO
2009 IS250, RWD, No Spoiler, Blue, cream interior. This is the first time I've bought a Lexus and it will be my last. Bought it CPO; had problems with the dealer over non-factory tint that they didn't tell me about. The tint interferes with with radio reception when the defroster is turned on. I told my dealer this when I brought it in for service and the best they offered was free labor and I pay for a new back glass. This was after a service writer accused me of damaging my car. The leather in the driver's seat split. Sorry sir, not covered under warranty. The trunk release button has melted. This is covered in other threads. It'll cost 400$ to have it fixed. It might be covered under warranty, but I doubt it. So I bought the car in November of 2015 and I will have spent over 1200$ on repairs since then. This is the relentless pursuit of perfection? BMW's are a great deal more fun than this.

My new 2006 IS350!
Got my 06 IS350 a month ago as a trade in at the auto dealer I work at. It was super clean, one owner, dealer serviced, 126k miles, so I jumped on it! It has the Luxury pkg and the Mark Levinson stereo.
I had been looking for an IS350. My criteria was something sporty, luxurious, RWD, and reliable--Lexus! This car is a gem--10 years old but even back then it had paddle shifters, heated/cooled seats, LED bulbs on some lights, illuminated door sills, back up cam--these are still options on new cars today!
So far Ive put on new Niche wheels, painted the rotors and calipers, added carbon fiber accents, custom decals, LED driving lights, and will be installing a Spectre air intake. Future will be lowering springs.

First Lexus and I am HOOKED!
IS350
2. RWD
3. Tungsten Pearl
4. 18" Bridgestone
5. No spoiler (considering it)
6. Sterling Perforated
7. Navigation and Premium Package
8. The Woodlands, Texas
Previous car was a C32 AMG, which was fun for the first year I had it. Then it became a money/misery pit . This is my first Lexus and I did hours and hours of research. Very happy with the car so far, and it is a different driving experience for sure............and on the positive side! .
I only have had the car four days so will post pics when the monsoon moves away in the next few days.
