The 2000 LS (avatar)has been gone for a while. However just picked up a 2007 IS 250 awd apparently the headlamp adjusters are both cracked no idea what kind of repairs are needed. I will search the Forums. I am hoping the IS will be as reliable as the LS was. Apparently the guys who bought it were sending it to Saudi...Who knows with all the Bullcrap going around this crazy world. Car pictures to come

Welcome to the forums. My wife's is250 has been nothing but great. Just make sure you do your normal maintenance and at least once a year or twice if you're really **** like me do a fuel induction cleaning to clean the intake valves since these motors are direct injection.
So I just bought my first Lexus, an IS 250 RWD, so far so good, loving the whole driving feel!

Exhaust work in October 2019
Hopefully not much more $ has tobe sunk into it....

New owner of an 2007 is350. I currently live in Cincinnati Ohio, I bought this is 350 in Lexington KY. according to the carfax, it was only briefly in KY and the main owner lived between California and Hawaii

I've been lurking around for a while ever since I was first considering getting an IS, and you guys helped a lot to make the right decision! So, here is some obligatory info:
1. 350 2. RWD 3. Black 4. Aftermarket lightweight 19s 5. Spoiler (a tiny one) 6. Black interior 7. Version S with 70k on it when I got it half a year ago.
Got it with 19s, lowered RS-R springs, new head and tail lights, and a dashboard that's falling apart.
What I've done so far:
+ Cusco LSD
+ Thicc Cusco rear stabilizer bar
+ Cusco strut bar
+ Blitz Damper ZZ-R coils
+ YellowStuff brake pads
+ Intake pipe from GS
+ Air filter had to be replaced so K&N
+ Yokohama Advan V105S (F:225/35/19 R:255/35/19)
+ Oil/coolant/tranny fluid

So I just bought my first Lexus, an IS 350 RWD. I've owed 5 BMW's before this. 99' 540i RWD, 11' 328i RWD, 12' X5 35D, 13' X3 35i, 16' 335 GT. I'm a BMW fan boy through and through. But lifestyle changes has brought me here today. Focusing more on real estate investing, trying to get to my 3rd property. I'm officially going no car payments now. I need something "fast" and reliable and cheap. This car is soooo clean. Leather is perfect. I'm shocked but I heard about how sustaining this leather is over time.
So here are the details:

Current Issues:
- AFS Light blinking
- Driver door keyless entry doesn't work, only passenger
- Passenger side view mirror button/motor not working
- Sounds like it def needs 2 rear shocks/struts
- Passenger rear door doesn't close perfectly as the dome light and warnings pops up constantly even though door is closed and tight
- Headlight washers seem to work like crap
- Window mouldings are shot
- Passenger headlight not sealed anymore, lots of moisture
Overall I am happy though as I only paid $3600. Very nicely built car. Smooth engine and tranny. Just bought 7 quarts of Amsoil Signature 5w-20 oil. Excited for that. Eventually I'm going to get the car tuned by OV or RR.

Hi all, just picked up this clean 2009. I've only been driving it for one day but I'm really loving the smooth quiet ride. I attached a CarPto by Coolstream Bluetooth receiver and it works great with my OnePlus 7T Pro. And I'm super happy that the steering wheel controls work so I can advance tracks on my Android device without having to touch my phone.
The car's high mileage (155k) but runs like a top. And to think I was so close to getting a used 3 series Bimmer. 😜
