Hey guys. Just joined today. Not new to cars, forums, or to Lexus, but I still promise to ask lots of stupid new guy questions since I'm new here, LOL.

Just lost a 2002 IS300 to a car crash. I bought it brand new and put all 300,000 miles on it. She had no end in sight when I got rear ended and totaled. Just picked up a 2013 AWD IS250 as a replacement car. Basic car, 77K miles, super clean. Just a DD car with zero mods.

Hello this is my 2nd Lexus, my 1st was an es300 that was wrecked a few years ago.
Anyhow, I’m back looking for insight on things I should look at right away or be on the look out in the future. The new (to me) Lexus IS 250 is really clean with 103250 miles.
thanks ahead of time!

Hello sleeperISl, great looking vehicle! Interested in knowing if the addition of Megan Racing strut tower bar, was beneficial with Lexus IS chassis type or more for aesthetics.

No spoiler (but I want to get one added)

First Lexus purchase. PO took very good care of it, inside and out. Besides a couple door dings on one of the doors its mint.

Adding the strut tower bar made a huge difference in handling around curves and such. I plan on purchasing the rear brace ASAP, because you will be able feel “sway” in the rear while the front is tight.

Thanks for followup sleeperISl, I appreciate it. Thought perhaps adding a strut bar to a vehicle equipped with a certain type of suspension (double wishbone (IS350) or Macpherson strut type suspension), would have more impact over the other. Again, nice vehicle. Is exterior color Tungsten Pearl?

Hi Guys, another first time Lexus buyer here.

1. 2012 IS250

2. AWD
3. Starfire Pearl
4. 17s
5. OEM Lip spoiler
6. Black leather
7. 75k miles, nicely optioned
8. PICS, PICS, PICS!!! Coming
9. Massachusetts

I'm coming from 14 years driving a 2006 325i. There's been some growing pains, but I think once I get the ones I can sort out sorted I'm going to like this car.

IS250
RWD
Tungsten Silver
17” stock alloys (in massive need of replacement)
No spoiler for now
Black leather interior. Mark Levinson Audio with Nav.
Bought as a project Track car but love the ride and interior too much.

This is Lola Lexus

139,000 miles on her V6 heart

Honestly didn’t think it would play a DVD!

Lola’s stock wheels are in need of some love

That Back end is crying out for a little spoiler and some Vland tail lights

Hey guys. I am looking at a 2010 IS250 AWD. Going to get a PPI. What, in particular, should I look for? What is this vehicle known to have issues with?
Also, should I think about adding some coilovers?
