2011 IS 250 RWD
Starfire Pearl
18’s. Spoiler. Black leather.
Previously owned:
2008 IS 250, Pearl/Black
2013 GS 350 F Sport, Silver, Red
2014 GS 350 Luxury, Black, Grey
2015 IS 250 Base. Silver, Grey
Left for a C class Mercedes. Trying to save for a house, so I decided on a cash car and knew the 2IS was what I wanted. So glad to be in something super reliable again. Honestly I feel better driving my 2011 IS with 100k on it than my 2017 Benz with 40k. It’s sick.
Attached are some pics of my Lexus babies over the years!

Nice collection!
I also just bought a 2011 IS 250 with low mileage. Interesting that you traded a relatively new MB for a Lexus. I was originally in the market for a high quality German car, and found out that the recent Merc's are no longer "engineered like no other car in the world" (their tagline from the 70's and 80's).
That seems to be reflected in the used car pricing where I live. Used Lexus seem to command higher resale prices compared to the German brands.

Just a couple of days ago, I saw a 2011 2IS here in Vancouver listed for almost CAD$15k!

IS350 JDM in NZ
Hi there
A post from a land down-under
1. 2008 IS 350 (w L package)
2. RWD
3. Metallic Burgundy Red
4. Factory dark-silver 18s
5. No spoiler
6. Interior colour is a Japan-only special limited edition "Elegant White" which is a two-tone white and gray leather with black carpets (there was a post on this forum about it https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...l-edition.html)
7. I had several requirements going into the purchase; I wanted NO SUNROOF as I hate the feeling of my head touching the ceiling, and I never use them; then of course I wanted any colour other then silver as it's so boring, and of course black interior is so hot in the sun I wanted light-colour if it was leather... also wanted parking sensors, and if possible radar cruise... this car met all the requirements except radar cruise, but it was only on like a very SMALL number of the cars I was looking at, it must have been a very expensive option, and Japanese hardly ever use cruise control as far as I can tell, so lucky all IS350s have normal cruise as standard... This car has the L package so it has perforated leather seats that are heated/cooled, and rubber gas/brake pedal covers... all the Japanese import IS350s have backup cameras and what-not. I picked this one as it only had 85,000 kilometres and the price was right
7b. As it is a Japanese import, I took it to a radio/GPS place in Auckland and had them fit an original Lexus English language radio/GPS unit, so it speaks English and the map is not stuck in the ocean...
8. PICS -- (see below)
9. If you are INTERNATIONAL -- Yes - New Zealand; Northland currently, purchased the car in Auckland

7. Fully loaded: only options my model does not have is park/lane assist nor the Mark Levinson sound system. Even came with goodies I didn't realize until later; a F-sport intake, tinted passenger and rear windows! I am the second owner, however, the previous owner kept up with a meticulous maintenance schedule at Lexus Dealerships in the area: oil changes, tires, front struts replacement, cabin air purifier, pulleys, evaporator mold cleaning, recalls for cam gear/air bag/fuel line, brake pads....all the way up to 108k miles! There isn't much I have to do other than maintenance. Anything I can handle without having to go to a Stealership or a decrepit Jersey mechanic I will. I changed the oil, transmission fluid, HID headlight bulbs, windshield wipers, and spark plugs so far. New tires put in by a local Sam's club recently makes the ride feel A LOT better. I would like to paint the rims, change the brake pads, and possibly install f-sport AWD sway bars when I get more time.
From the records, previous owner was from NYC. So, I suspect a lot of stop and go traffic, but with the miles already on this car I would say it was more of a highway cruiser. Testament to Lexus engineering because it still drives like a dream. Nothing wrong with the engine and transmission.

New (to me) Lexus
1. Model: IS350 MY2007 RWD
2. Exterior Color - Tungsten Pearl (plus unpainted bits)
4. 17s or 18s (and what kind) : 20 inch VIP MODULAR VR-03s painted black
Rear:235/35ZR20 86W XL Front:215/35ZR20 86W XL
5. Spoiler: What looks like the WALD but may be a rep for all I know
6. Interior color: Black
7. Anything you want to mention (options, others considered, previous Lexus owner, etc): Front and rear bumpers replaced, was told they were F-Sport bumpers, VLAND tails and I personally installed VLAND headlights over the previous DEPOs (which I still have), Truhart Street Plus coilovers, unsure of amount of drop from stock, PX6 Tesla style touch screen infotainment center, one JL 10 in a basswedge ported box which ONLY sounds good turned all the way down (gain and boost at minimum, perfect, and I use to run two 12s all the time.) Looking for help identifying the bumpers if possible!
