Hey Club Lexus. Long time lurker, first time poster here. I gotta say that CL is the best Lexus forum out there. Tons of great info and help to be found.
My ride:
1. 2012 IS350
2. AWD
3. Starfire Pearl
4. Stock 17s
5. Spoiler
6. Ecru
7. Luxury Plus Package, NAV (non-ML). Bone stock except for Interior LED, backup LED mods.
8. Have to get pics in the summer when the weather is not so bad, but without exterior mods its standard fare.
Finally, 2013 IS250 is MINE!!! Now help me find what I can do to make her sexy!
So....I have never posted on a forum in my life but now that I have this car, I am all over it. I will need some serious help and direction for what I want to do to this beauty of mine.
She is a Starfire pearl 2013 IS250 with grey leather interior (I was told it is two-toned but I don't see that??). She has 97K miles so I have lots of time with her planned! I love the look of the 200t but I just couldnt bring myself to buy that one .... yet!!!! I have already changed the fog lights to LED, that yellow look had to go!

vland headlight, vland tailights, front lip, wald style rear spoiler, fsport grill, coilovers, intake, rims, rear diffuser, cat back exhaust etc. Just some suggestions.
Not much you can do to the is250 for performance other than cat back exhaust and intake. Maybe a 10hp gain if that. Even with headers and rr tune you may get 30-40hp. Not worth the approx 2-3k in my opinion. If you want power trade your is250 for an is350 or ISF.
Is250 is a all show, some go. Nothing wrong with that though.

200t F series looking front bumper - Lots of people going that route. It looks great but that oem look of the 11-13 style headlights is nice.
Side skirts that give the closest look to the 200t - Or some side skirt extensions would work too and still look nice and fill in that "gap".
Back bumper... still trying to see what looks best - pictures welcome and encouraged - Leave as is. I think those diffusers make the rearend look overdone and bulky.
Black wheels - currently have standard 17" Lexus wheels - Some 18x8.5F and 18x9.5R would look nice especially in silver to flow with that beautiful white.

Tail lights - again, not common and sexy! - Vlands also look nice here.
Speaker upgrade... want to hear here coming - So our cars have 13 speakers but from what i have seen on crutchfield there are woofer upgrades for the doors, the ones that sit at the bottom of each door. Kicker has some nice replacement upgrades.
Some sort of performance upgrade.... no clue where to start here - I would say just maybe a nice custom mid-pipe that deletes the secondary cats and something like a greddy or hks axleback and a F sport airbox.
Very nice 2is ! I love the tungsten pearl paint on these cars. So there are some of my suggestions in red. And congrats on the purchase.
Hi, just picked up a 2IS today! 1. 2009 IS 250 2. RWD 3. Breakwater Blue Metallic4. 18" lobster claws 5. No spoiler 6. Interior is Light Gray, perforated with the Nav package. 7. It has 40,000 miles and was one owner, dealer maintained. Previous owner traded it in at the dealer they bought it at for a new Lexus SUV (UX I think.) It had been on the lot less than two days and still needed to be safety checked, so we waited around for a few hours so the service department could check it out before we could test drive. Worth it! It's immaculate and the dealership is replacing the tires and doing the front brakes. Very excited to have found one in my price range in such great condition. 8.
9. I'm pretty sure Southern California isn't a different country even if it feels like it sometimes.
These cars seem to hold up well, even where I live (in the rust belt). Even better that it is an ultra low mileage car.

I am so stoked. The wife drives an RX450h, but my commuter car has been a 2001 Subaru Forester. The IS is light years ahead in quiet, comfort, and performance. The only real change I'm thinking of is getting the windows tinted, but we'll see. I've never had it done and it seems like 9/10 look cheap and crappy.
Just purchased a used, but in great condition, 2006 RWD IS 250 in white. Currently has 104,000 miles on it, and was meticulously maintained by the original owner. Using the car primarily as a commuter, daily driver, but would love to dress it up a little. Look forward to learning more about this awesome platform. The owner kept it 100% stock, so I have a clean slate to work with.
Just picked up our, new to the daughter, 2010 IS250C with 104,000 miles
Her previous car a 2007 Altima SL with leather and 264,000 miles on the original CVT, was deemed totaled by insurance company for a parking lot booboo to the rear door.....seriously?
What a terrible time to be buying cars...but I think we did alright.
Needs tires...and man those 18" sized tires are not cheap.
