2nd Gen IS 250/350/350c Official ROLLCALL/Welcome Thread!!!

This post is about 15 years late. Thought I'd post a few throwback photos of my brand new 2007 IS 350 from September 2007. Still one of my favorite cars and I really liked the two tone interior and the leather was so soft. Thinking about a new Lexus (no longer have that 2007 IS) so my next photo posting may be of a 2023 IS later this year.
I don't recall all the details but my IS was nearly fully loaded, had just about every option except for trunk spoiler. I also added the 18" wheels, the sport exhaust, the lowering springs, and the F Sport cold air intake. Sounded great. Back then I paid $44,853 including tax, title, registration (exhaust and springs were extra) at Lexus of Seattle (Lynnwood).

Hey everyone! Recently upgraded from being a lifetime Honda guy to Lexus. Definitely looking forward to the new adventure!
1. IS250C (2011)
2. RWD
3. Pearl White
4. 18s (they seem to be stock size...nothing special and will be replaced ASAP)
5. No spoiler
6. Black & light grey
7. I just really wanted a Japanese import hard top convertible so the 250C/350C were the best options. I was patient and weighed all the options knowing that everyone says if you want power...just get the 350C. I decided on the 250C for affordability reasons and the fact that I really enjoy tinkering. My new baby/project has a TON of miles on her but was obviously garage kept because the interior is dern near perfect. Even with 150k miles, she drives pretty dern good. Looking forward to figuring out what "quick win" regular maintenance & upgrades I can do to get her running tip-top
Please forgive the fact that this is my only pic as of now. I'm at work and don't wanna look like a goober by going out to the parking lot for a photoshoot of my new car. I work at a lumber mill so I already stick out like a sore thumb in a Lexus Convertible

New (to me) Cerulean Blue IS250C
Just bought on black friday:
1. IS250C
2. RWD
3. Cerulean Blue (my boys keep telling me it's a chick car color)
4. 18" Rims
5. No spoiler
6. Interior is light grey
7. Appears to have every option that I can tell except for the radar cruise control and headlight washers
8. I don't have great pics yet but here's what I do have:
9. ~68k original miles.
Just turned 50. Sold my C5 and picked up the lexus....my god does it feel good to sit in, the comfort level is off the charts after a life of sports cars!

- IS350 RWD
- Interior is beige.
- Dark Red
- Fully loaded, with the old school pressure touch screen that still makes me smile. Only option missing is the radar detector, which should be stock in that color.
- ~140k miles. purrs like a kitten but I had to feed it 2 quarts of oil on Friday, so when Lexus fixes the 3 recalls, they'll take a look at this too.
But when I sat in it, and the steering wheel moved into position, and then feeling when I floored it in S-2 where the guts moved up an inch... I knew I had my new car.
And after hours cleaning the carpets and Leatherique over the seats to restore grip, finally the smell of tar and uncaring is gone making it such a fun car to drive!
It is as far as Leatherique can heal leather, cracks need leather dye I think.

1. 09' IS250
2. RWD
3. Frost Mica
4. 18's
5. Spoiler
6. Black (Wrapped wood bits with grey to match the head unit)
7. IDK the history of her, but the previous owners didn't seem to be the best so bringing her up to spec and making her better day by day budget persisting! Bought her as my first car in 2022 for $8k, 195k miles. My friend and I did the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets with some trouble. Just bought some OE Fsport struts for the rears and will throw some lowering springs when the time works!
