Bought the car when it first came out in 2005 around halloween time. Dealer only had 3 cars in stock so I was pretty much narrowed into purchasing a black on black. I sold the car early 2008 with only 9k on it. I own a G35 now but that sucker killing my wallet.
I am trying to get back into the Lexus scene and maybe purchase IS again or new CT

1. 2009 IS350
2. RWD
3. Tungsten Pearl
4. Factory upgraded 18's
5. Spoil her
6. Black
7. "Gerard" replaced a '07 Mazdaspeed3 "Bob" I totaled in Austin recently. Was supposed to buy a '08 IS350 w/48k miles, and the dealership sold it while I was making the hour trip up there. I was sooo upset, they brought over this '09 one from their sister Toyota dealership and knocked off ~$2k, so paid a fair price in the end. Also was considering flying to Cali to visit a cousin and pick one up with the ML installed, but just wanted it over with. This one came with heated/cooled seats, HID's/AFS, XM, and 18" wheels/rubber. Now if I could only find the maintenance history on it. First on my list is to fix a few scratches, give Gerard a good wax, upgrade the lighting, and add an intake.
8. I can't access my garage pic due to insufficient time here on the forums...Would a moderator pls fix my link??
Thanks!

Wow that is really weird the guy before me also went from a Speed 3 to an IS. I will be picking my car up Sat morning.
1. 06 350
2. RWD
3. Onyx Black
4. 18" ISP's, and a free set of other wheels, I think they are the stockers
5. No spoiler, but that will change soon
6. Black perforated leather
7. My first Lexus, My IS has NAV and I believe luxury package (its got heated and cooled seats, so I assumed that was part of the luxury package), I am not sure if it has sport package or not, but the ride felt pretty firm when I drove it, I know the sport package lowers it 1/2" right? But what does it consist of just lower springs and stiffer dampers? maybe some thicker sways?
I will put up some good pics after I pick it up and get it detailed.

What's up Campbell, glad to see another previous MS3 owner jumping on the IS bandwagon! It was a sad day total'ing my MS3, I had babied it 110%, planning to drive in 200-300k miles. It had 90k on it and the PD on the scene of the wreck said, "geeez, sucks you wrecked your brand new car!" It's 4 years old...
With the IS being a Toyota, (and assuming it will play nicely with the other cars on the road) hopefully taking equally good care of it will pay off in a relatively long, trouble-free ownership experience.
