I just wanted to say hello.
I recently upgraded from a 2010 Honda Fit Sport to my new 2011 Lexus IS 250 AWD just last Wednesday. My Fit was alright but it was a compromise I made based on what I could afford. However after nearly doubling my income I decided I could afford to treat myself. I had a difficult time deciding between the 328xi, Infiniti G25x.
After test driving all of them I decided I did not like the feel of the infiniti vehicle. The front end looked like a old person's car and it felt like it floated disconnected from the road. The BMW was very nice but very expensive and I was worried about the reliability based on what people have been saying.
Then I saw the Lexus IS on my last stop. The rear seats had next to no leg room and the back seats don't fold down but beyond that the car was perfect. I love the body styling. It's not over priced like the BMW and it feels better to drive then the infiniti. Maybe not as nice of a feel as the BMW but the reliability reputation of Toyota is well earned.
To be fair coming from my Honda just about everything is nicer but I am not slamming Honda. For what it was it was very nice.
I especially love how my phone can stream music to the radio over bluetooth.
So I purchased my own 2011 Lexus IS 250 AWD fully loaded. I miss it though because it is at the dealership getting the clear bra installed. I get it back at lunch tomorrow. In the mean time I have a Lexus SUV loaner.
I'll take some pictures for everyone.

Hello All,
I have recently acquired a brand new 2011 black/black IS250 RWD with HID’s along with the premium package. I have stock 18” wheels and 35% tint all around.
I have been researching this car for the last five years, test driving, bugging dealers, and finally I have been able to make it happen. I am pleased to be a part of this Lexus community and I am looking forward to learning even more about the different ways I can make my ride even better.

Hello everyone.....
I just finished helping my little sister get into her first Lexus and we went with a 2009 black and black IS250! I must say, I've fallen in love with this car and we've only had it for a few hours.
I currently drive a 2008 Mazdapeed3 and now I'm kicking around the idea of trading her in for a IS250 This is the first time I've ever looked at the Lexus line of cars so I've got a bunch of reading up to do, but I figured I would join this forum to help my sister get a better understanding of what she's got (she bought it because she thinks it looks sexy haha) and to see if the IS line is a good fit for me.
The car has 25K miles and we got it for just under $26,000....not bad when considering what these were going for at other dealers.
Here's my sister saying goodbye to her 2007 Mazda3......
and here she is standing next to her new wheels.....talk about a BIG upgrade
she was so excited that she got a new car and all she wanted was a new photo for her facebook.....thus the "new driver" photo had to be taken
and here is my mazdaspeed3 that might get the trade-in treatment when I get back to Seattle

Hey everyone new here and new to Lexus.
Just traded in a 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0Turbo 6spd manual for a 07 IS250 AWD, loved the Genesis but my wife has long commute now and were in New England so snow is a big factor.
*07 IS250 AWD
*Auto w/paddle shifts (standard on all auto trans?)
*17 Lexus wheels (brand new) wrapped in Dunlops (Brand new)
*Tech Package w/Nav, rear camera, AFS, Heated/cooled seats, push start
*Breakwater Blue
*Grey Leather
Will get some pics up soon, I noticed that the Breakwater blue is not that common, nice color but would rather have black.
