Greetings Club Lexus! I just purchased my first IS 250 today and am still in a state of shock that I am now the owner of one of these amazing cars. There are so many bells and whistles to this vehicle that it blows my mind! I am coming from a 2000 Honda Civic LX, so yeah...its a BIG jump! I am glad to see that there is an awesome forum for me to join, you guys seem to have a ton of info and experience.
So along with my excitement, I like to fantasize on all of the upgrades that I plan on doing to this thing to make it stand out a little from the rest. I would like to know if there is a "main" website that kind of has everything to it, or maybe a couple of the top sites. I found the vendor list, but that thing is massive!
I look forward to becoming an active member here. Cheers!

Wassup?! I just picked up my first Lexus last weekend! Loving it so far!

4. 18" Liquid Graphite Wheels?

7. This is our first Lexus. Shoulda got this first instead of my previous BMW. Love the reliability of Toyota! Not planning too much for this car since my wife also drives and she loves curbs! A nice soud sys is a must! From Hawaii, Honolulu.

Date of purchase 01/23/12
Miles 4,300 (quick trip to Florida worth 3,200 miles)
Big surprise Average mpg for above trip was 32+.... better than old GS300!!
Questions... Advice needed on oil for this one. Don't like using 0W-20. Any comments?

Taking it in next week for the 5K check up. A quick run through the first 5,000 miles. Mostly a trip to Florida. Amazing mpg to report! OA we recorded 32 miles per gallon for over 3,200 miles of driving. This is a lot better than ye old GS300 (1999 with 175,000 miles....it averaged 27 mpg). Will come back with report on the oil grade decision.

7. 20% Llumar Tint, LED Lighting inside and puddle lamps and soon license plate and courtesy step lights thanks to iJDM, 8k HIDS, 8k demon eyes halo rings on low/high beams
8. representing orlando, fl but living at West Point NY.
next mod, looking at a blue conversion--blue lug nuts, blue brake caliper covers, blue puddle lights, and blue footwell lighting.

9. Lost track of what to put so its got nav, Bluetooth. All that cool electronic stuff. My wife and I just bought it a week ago. It has 59k on her. With I think 20% tint. I love this car. Side note, its surprisingly fast. Had no idea about these cars.
