Ok, i just test drove a 350 and priced 1 together. I was thinking about the sports package, ML, nav, and park assist. The msrp came out to be about $44.5k! That price really shocked me especially it is a lexus (not bmw or benz( and the saleman even admit that they are becoming bmw and mercedes, which is charging the customer on every options. And when i ask when will lexus starting charging for metallic paint, he giggles and told me "soon"..lol...hope that isn't true but if it is, it will just give me 1 more reason to not staying in the lexus family for my next car...

well, if you just talk about teh car, yes, i do think that the is350 is a bit on the expensive side. just keep in mind this is the sticker price. once demand and supply level off, generally there are more discount and such.
however the way you put "this is a lexus" and "1 more resaon to not stay in lexus family", that's kinda silly imho.... what's wrong if it's a lexus. lexus has come a long way to build their status today. they are all about bang for the buck. yes, price wise the is350 fully loaded is probably close to the 330 or the c320 fully loaded (msrp), however do i think you get more out of the is350 compared to the other two? my answer is a definite yes.
i think as long as you are still getting more out of the lexus car compared to what you get out of other models, you are still getting yourself a good deal, even though the price is higher than before. but that has nothing to do with whether lexus has "become" bmw or mb. for all i care, most of the stuff on lexus have been options anyway
and i wonder, seems like you hate bmw and mb, and now lexus is getting out of your radar. what are you going with next?? well, acura usually has no options except nav

When I started my journey to the IS, the first car I drove was a 330i. That vehicle was $47,000. Preference aside, I believe the IS is better equipped at the top-out price of $45,000, which includes:
Compare ML vs BMW sound, Gen 5 NAV vs iDrive and you already have a win. That is without considering the many more features I didnt talk about.
