Default IS350-From PDI to Home!

The wait is finally over! Got a call at 7 am from one of the techs letting us know that the car had arrived. We got to the dealership at 10am and searched the entire lot. Got to the back and saw that she had been cleaned up but PDI had not been done yet...

So, hubby puts on his uniform and starts to PDI car, ON HIS DAY OFF!!!

Took his time adding this very important mod before driving the car to delivery bay...

One last very important change before sending to the delivery bay...Can you guess what it is?

So here's the final pics, with a close up of the wheels which some of you may be thinking of getting..

Finally! Isn't it funny not even 2 months ago, you were literally drooling on my 2006 Lexus IS250/350 Press Kit and the photos at Salo Salo Restaurant in Cerritos. Now you can search in your NAV to find Salo Salo from NorCal....so if you want to re live that moment, punch it up hahahaha! Congrats!

Your car is beautiful! Congratulations - admittedly, I'm unbelievably jealous. The wheels look great too! Now I really can't wait to get mine.

Just so happened that the car was delivered on his long weekend off. They told us it was going to be delivered earlier in the week and EVERYONE in the shop knew he was going to do it. So when it finally did arrive, no one wanted to touch it! On top of that, the wheels still had to be swapped out and no one else knew about that.
The wheels do make a difference, don't they

Yeah, techs tend to not touch another employees' car because they think he probably wanted to do it himself anyway. I can't wait to see it in person next weekend. See you in Emeryville!

Oviously these are the optional 18" wheels. I'm looking at the optional 15-spoke. Did the dealer take your original wheels and discount the cost of these?

Congrats on the car. The wheels are beautiful. Im guessing those are the optional G-spider wheels. How much did the dealer charge you for the upgrade?

LadyinRed

Does this car have the Sport Pkg? Even with those wheels there is still alot of gap in the wheel well. Also will this car give off alot of brake dust? If so those wheels will be a devil to clean. I hope the IS 350 doesn't give the kind of brake dust my E46 gave the first couple years it was terrible, I could wash the wheels one day and the next they were pitch black, BMW's give off heavy thick black brake dust.

More details about your car please and interior pics please.
