Default Chrome Lexus License Plate Frame

I just wanted to know what people thought about this license plate frame.

Thanks!
Lex

I prefer mine more subtle, but it looks nice. BTW if you order it from Sewell Lexus (lexus-parts.com) where you linked the pics from we have a 10% ClubLexus member discount. The current discount code is “CL911M”

I don't like it, conflicts too much with the emblem above it, after all the emblem says it all. Would look cleaner with just metal trim plate.

Yeah, that's what bothered me about it too. A bit redundant.

Thanks for your comments!

Default I guess it could be overkill,

but basically, I like it. I'm still going with my USC Trojan frame however . I wish Lexus would make a cover in socal that would promote the lexus gauntlet trophy - one for USC and one for the other team (ucla). if they had it, i would buy it - but it would be cooler if the dealer OFFERED it to me for free with purchase of a new vehicle. they promote this big competition between the two schoold and they should hype it on the plates...just mho

looks a little gaudy, also harder to clean. I prefer the frame with halo Lexus sticker--just enough to show that it's not a generic/blank frame, but subtle enough not to overadvertise Lexus.

I had the same exact one on my LS400 except it had gold plated lettering. I don't know if I'd use it on today's styles though. BTW it was hard to clean in between.

Yeah I agree. To me a "Lexus" license plate frame or a plate frame with the model of your car is a bit redundant. Although I sport the Lexus corporate license plate frames "The Passionate Pursuit of Perfection", it at least has meaning.

i like it, only because it's better than dealer plates. the quality is actually very good, as it should be because they aren't cheap. IMO they look nicer than the plain chrome trim ones that sometimes look too flimsy. i had a university plate before, but the material on that was crap and starting to chip and peel after so many years.

i got 2 of these from sewell a few months ago (1 for SC and 1 for GS), and they look great. you don't notice it most of the time, and so far it's not been difficult to keep clean.

Any chance you could post some pics of the full rear from your Lexus collection? The picture from Sewell doesn't really help me.

Thanks!
Lex
