Swung by Steven's Creek Lexus today just to see what they had. Not much new, 7 or 8 IS's. All with sale tags displaying them marked down $500-600 off MSRP. None of them have nav.

 

Neither have I. Has anyone seen 350 or 250 (not AWD) with 17's?

 

I want a BASE IS 250 but my dealer (SoCal) says they dont make base IS 250's.....is it the same in every region?

 

i would check with another dealer. Remember not all info from a dealer is correct. Here in colorado springs they said colorado as a whole only got 3 colors.......Denver Lexus has 7. lol

Lexus of Melbourne (FL) has a black on black base 350 w/18's as the only option, just over $36K. I'm not a sales rep, that's where I bought my 250 and was there this afternoon to have my personal settings set up.

 

Every dealership in SoCal seems to have alot of base IS350 w/38k sticker at their lots. Longo and Mission Viejo have a good handful of these cars. I have seen these cars this past week. There seems to be at least 2 base IS250 6MTs around for each as well.

 

Your dealership lied to you or doesnt know what they are talking about.

I test drove a base IS250 6MT with only 18" wheels nothing else with a stick price of little over $31k.. I live in So cal too.

 

You must be looking at or asking the wrong dealerships. Longo had two last week both Tungsten Pearl with black interior. Mission Viejo had one Matador Red base 6mt with black interior sitting on the side as the Black Onyx version was already sold. 31k sticker price is the key. Those dealers that don't have these cars will tell you anything just to sell you something they already have on the lot.

 

BTW most all of these base IS250's and 350's that I mentioned have the moonroof, manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel, no HID and 18" wheels.

 

I think the only option they have are the 18" wheels.

I saw a base 250 6MT with the only option of 18" wheels.

 

Moonroof is pretty standard across the board now in allocation but it is a bonafide option in the books.

 

The first IS 350s up here in Michigan all had Lux and Nav, $44,000. I suspect that Lexus dealers feared these wouldn't sell, and asked for less pricey cars.

I haven't been by to see how well they're selling around here. I'm seeing a few on the road.

 

I saw my first IS350 the other day up in the bay area (Norcal) other than that they seem kinda sparse up here. Even though the dealers say they are selling like hotcakes.

 

I emailed Mission Viejo, Tustin, Longo, and Glendale and they all said the least equipped IS 250 RWD Auto is with the premium pkg only. All the Base IS 250's u guys have been mentioning have been 6MT. Do they make base IS 250 AUTO???
