Default Does sport package have power tilt telescope?

I just realized on my order that power tilt/telescope isn't noted on my Sport Package but is on the Luxury Packages... I'd look on Build Your IS, but that doesn't really apply to me since I don't fit into area restrictions...

Can anyone confirm that the Sport Package does include the power tilt telescoping? I'm not saying that I'm lazy but... meh, who am I kidding... I'm lazy and I'm a nerd. I want to watch the car move the seat and steering wheel all by itself.

Two sources I found say that the Sport Package includes power/tilt telescoping.

I think this is just a standard feature now.

I heard a bunch of options and packages got moved around, combined, etc. Is this one of those cases?

This might be one of those combination things... I placed my order back in September before all of that was finalized and before pricing so my sheet may just be old or not show all of the options. I know the form I get internally here cuts off after so many characters so it may be at the end and I just can't see it. Oh well... it appears it's a part of the sport package now. Hurray!

It's still an option, and only available with the Sport and Luxury packages. The tilt/telescoping wheel is standard, but not with power and the tilt-away feature when turning the car off.

The power tilt/telescoping is not standard..it's optional or available on the Premium or Sport package. The others are manually done.

Talking about the new IS Here:

technically it could be considered an option but have you ever heard of a Lexus without some type of pkg? So it's not a standalone option right?

I think if you went to a Lexus dealer and said, I DON'T want the Premium or Sport package but I want the power tilt telescoping wheel, they would say What?

So at that point I would not consider it an option as every IS that Lexus puts out on the dealer lot will have either the Prem or Sport Pkg.

Right? or Wrong?

Wrong. For now anyway. Now sport or lux package equipped IS cars around here.

Default Power tilt/telescopic not part of..

Premium package so you will need either Luxury or Sport packages to get it. The manual steering column adjustments include telescopic and tilt so if you set them up to your preference it will work. The ES doesn't have power either and costs a little more than the IS250.
