Lexus Emblems
Does anyone know if there are holes behind the emblems on rear (ie. Lexus, IS250, IS350)?
Is it possible to take them off and leave it clean?

if you want to put them back on, you need to use the 3m industrial adhesive double sided tape, not just normal double sided tape
and to take them off, dental floss is more than enough. with the holes, you will need to fill them and repaint the whole trunk lid if you want to do it right. aftwards if you want to put back the emblems, you will need to cut the nipples and just stick the thing on

yes you can take them off and put them back on no problem
but paint them black? not sure if that's a good idea. i think the paint might peel pretty easily even if you sand and prime them (and sanding them isn't easy). plus it won't be even close to what dark chrome looks like

I don't understand why a regular car driver would debadge their new car unless they wanted to hide the fact that they purchased a lower trim model, like IS_250 did with his car.
