I am about to order my first car, my dad wants to get me the is250 black on cashmere with the navi, and my dealer is making me get the perferred accessory package . o well, i have a quick question.

1. Does the car come with power seats or do i need another package with it.

It has power seats but no memory, you have to get luxury or sport I think to get memory. Also, my salesman said that my side mirror will tilt when I go reverse. Not on my IS with Premium package only.

 

so i have to get premium package too to get the memory and the erse tilting side mirrors?

 

Tilt-down mirrors are also only available with the Sport or Luxury packages.

 

but basically i dont get either of those options with the config i have now. Not to bad, maybe ill see if my dealership has those in even though its no biggie.

You do not have to take the preferred accessory package.

It is a port installed gouge (wheel locks, trunk mat and trunk net for almost $200).

Just tell the dealer you "do not accept the preferred accesory package".

They can not force you to take this option.

 

hmm i didnt no that, they pretty much told me when i was ordering the car that no car in South Fla comes with out that package, o well i dont reall mind the wheel locks the rest is just junk but w.e.
