IS 250 FAN

I just got a phone call from my local lexus dealership (JM Lexus), regarding the imcoming allocations for the IS 250. I told my rep that i wanted black on black or black on beige with navi. He called me today to inform me that his dealership wouldnt be getting any 250's with Navi in because they are holding off till the December to Remember event. How can this be true? I was working with another dealer also but am yet to call him to confirm if this is true. If this is true I am going to be PISSED. I had the oppurtunity about a week ago to get black on black with navi but my dealer (JM lexus) said hes sure theres one coming in this allocation so not to rush. Now he said i might have to wait 3 weeks past the 17th till the next allocation comes in. This is riduclas. How can this be...

When I bought my base IS 250AWD my dealer told me the same thing. I wanted a 250 w/ nav only and was going to wait until one came in. However, he told me that Lexus was going to make about 50% of the 250's as base models, 30% fully loaded with lux and nav, 10% base + nav, and 10% lux only. He continued telling me that it was going to be harder to negotiate on a base +nav model. I thought he was blowing smoke up my *** to get me to buy the base model in their inventory as it was the end of the month. However, I felt he gave me a good deal on the car so I bought the base only. Wonder if this is true?

My friend in Cali got one with Navigation. I really hope its not true. I went to two dealerships last week, and they did not have any with navigation. But as you can see in the Roll Call forums, some have already got their IS with navigation.

both of those dealers have had many with NAVI i just wasnt ready to purchase at the time and now when i am ready one dealer doesnt/wont have any and the second dealer will know tomarrow!
