i dont think you can just "unplug" the wire. im pretty sure its connected to airbags and other stuff

The only reason I'm thinking about doing this is not because of the safety reason. I always wear my seat belt and I make sure my passengers do as well. But the really annoying thing about the buzzer is after I have dropped someone of and drive away, the stupid thing keeps buzzing.

Oh, lol. Haven't looked into it since I've never thought about turning it off. But I totally understand why you want to do this Kwang. Just wanted to make some not so necessary comments to be a smart ***.

When you turn off the drivers side it turns both driver and passenger side off. At least it did in my 2011.
