Off-topic, but it's a C-Best option so you'll have to take it to a Lexus dealership to change the setting. If they claim they don't know how to do it, print this out and give it to them:

How to turn of DRL's in C-Best on IS | 2006

Wow, some usefull information. I can't wait to try this out.
At first I thought this was a silly post, until I took my dog to the vet. The alarm kept going off, so I had to pull over and buckle the seatbelt behind her. Then she kept getting all tangled up with the belt. I guess the safety gurus at Lexus didn't think about dogs.

PUSH THE BUTTON ON THE SEATBELT BUCKLE. simple solution, ill bet it goes away. if not, you get a cookie

and dont feel stupid if ti does go away...cause it took me a few weeks to figure out how to stop it.

when it dings, push the button and then it shouldnt do it again for the rest fo the time the car is on.
does this work, ive never tried it, and i always forget to when im in the car...

What happens if you hold down the Trac button?

Yeah, my wife has a habit of doing that. She gets in the car and doesn't put her seatbelt on right away. I'm glad it's there to nag her, that way I don't have to do it.

3. turn the ignition to the LOCK (OFF) position
4. unbuckle the driver's seatbelt if it was buckled.
5. turn the key to the ON position again press the start button twice. when the dash lights comes on, press and hold the trip reset button and count a slow 12 seconds. (editor's note, hold it more like 30 sec)
6. while still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt.
7.and the odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip reset.
8. the process should be completed when you unbuckle or turn the key off.
Works like a champ

Default seatbelt hack for 07 IS350 models

Has anyone been able to do the seatbelt hack on 07 IS350 models? I've tried a bunch of times and I just can't seem to get it to work. If anyone else has done it, then I must be doing it wrong or something...

Thanks!

I got it to work pretty quickly, 2nd or 3rd try. I used the Hack that was posted by r6z9r on 5/25/06. {Not sure how to import his post}

use a stopwatch to count to 30, you are probably counting too fast or too slow.
