Default Christmas came early for me!

So I finally got my Matador Red on black IS350 w/ Lux & Nav last night. It was a long wait but it could have been a lot worse.

One of the dealers I was working with told me last week that no IS350’s with Lux/Nav would be available until after Christmas. I was bummed to say the least. Then the other dealer I was working with called me yesterday and told me that they had the exact car I was looking for on their lot, ready to be picked up! It turned out that they got the Lexus show car from the Sacramento Auto show. I first thought, “Maybe I don’t want a car that 1000’s of people would sit in at the show”. Then my salesman said that the car would actually be on a pedestal, roped off and locked. I couldn’t believe it.

So today, I felt like the luckiest guy in the world because this car is incredible. Then, reality struck back when I found 2 small rock chips on my hood when I got home. I can’t wait for the clear bra install this weekend.

To all those waiting on there is orders, “Keep the faith”!

I think that's only for pre-production models. If it was built during production, there is no reason to crush it.

How you end up paying for it. I found a Black/Black fully loaded and it was 47.7K and bit much for that car I think and they are not offering a discount. And has a 2800 package I don't want. I am almost to the point where I going to give up and get a GS300 instead.

I got $500 off MSRP, which I felt pretty good about considering the color/options we wanted are in high demand. I considered the GS300 also. However, I just felt that the IS350 was a better fit for me and my wife. We were actually looking at a G35 coupe when new IS’s hit the dealer floor. I’m glad we waited for the IS!
