Hey guys! I saw his car on an Acura TL thread. And there dissing stash for cutting his springs.
The guys says:

"I was talking to the guy who owns it and was thinking to myself "Why and the hell would cut the springs?" During the conversation he mention how much he really likes the TL. The funny part of the was that he tells me that Lexus charges an extra $2500 for HID headlights, memory seats and telescopic steering wheel. I'm thinking "All standard with the TL"

Oh the things they say behind your back! I sense a lot of jealously from the thread regarding the IS. Sad to say they are not even being compared at.

Anyway, he also showed a picture he showed of Stash's car.

Car looks dope.

What's wrong with cutting springs? I used to do it all the time on Hondas/Acuras before coilovers were ever invented with no issues whatsoever (just don't cut progressive springs lol).

Geez, jealousy is all it is. And who knows if he REALLY talked to stash and if he did that Stash said ANYTHING of that nature. I don't trust people most of the time and especially when the words "They told me this..." come out of their mouths.

I wouldn't cut the springs either but hey to each their own. The car looks good, and I feel sure that once actual lowering springs come out Stash will probably install some then. I know I would, the ride can't be all that good. lol

Default and....

for my brothers on this site... yes the car rides almost stock with the springs cut.. i rode around for a week with my ride stock... it was killing me with my volks ready.... so my friend and i took 1.5 coils off the front and 1.25 in the back. It took longer than expected and yes i am waiting for a coil over set up from tein. Just waiting and waiting.. just like the rest of you.... and all i can do is laugh at the guy who posted my car on there site.... talking issshhh about a car they all wished they would of waited for and bought... that really is classic....

dude, you get props from me. im dying to get wheels and if i get them before the springs come out ill cut them and swap them when the coils come out. everyone talks bs about it rides like ***** but have never done it before. if done properly and in moderation a car with cut spring can ride pretty good. as for those IS haters, you gotta pay to play... TL's are a dime a dozen. dont hate when something new and better comes out and try to rationalize why your car is better.
