Default G Spiders with Snow Tires Arrived

The winter wheels and tires arrived today.

The finish on the G Spiders is Ti like and I do not think they are painted like the stock wheels.

The only glitch was the center caps did not come along.

I will probably wait until after Thanksgiving to put them on.

Has anyone initialed new sensors to the car without going to the dealer?

Why G-spiders as your winter wheels? They would make a MUCH nicer summer wheel.

A minor moment of practicality.

The Sport Maxx tires are on the stock rims. I would have to pay to swap them over.

Sewell included mounting and balancing for free with the G Spiders.

From past experience, I go 6 months a year with each set up and the G Spiders will help brighten up the dreary winter.

Ah, alright. Didn't realize you needed 'em for so long. At least you have something to look forward to each winter

Nice. Did you get the G-spiders from the dealer or aftermarket? I want those rims!

He got them as aftermarket from Sewell:

You need to purchase the center cap separately for about $23 a piece.

Your right... The Finish is called "Graphite Polished" just like the optional wheel finish for the IS300

So you went with the Staggered set as well for your winter setup ??

BTW was the mountung of the tires to the rims 100% scratchless / markless ??

They look nice!!

Thanks for the thumbs up.

Yes, I went with the staggered set up.

The installation is perfect, no marks at all. Some of the stuff you see in the picture is the residuals from the tape and there may some protective coating on the wheels that I need to clean off.

The center caps were included in the deal (no charge, thank-you Darrell at Sewell) and were just left off the shipment.

No big deal as I need to call them again to order winter floor mats.

I had the car out this morning for the first time this week.

What a blast it is. I don't miss the S200 at all (OK a little).

I gave a ride to to work to a nice gentleman from Japan.

He commented that he was blown away by the combination of style, comfort, features and performance.

I received my G-spider "kit" today and, like you, was not provided with the center caps. (I'm having Blizzaks mounted at my local dealership next week, 225 front, 255 rear).

Just curious...Did Sewell ever send you the center caps for the G-spiders? Also, did they send you the correct color center cap (to match the wheel's darker finish)?
