Well, she arrived at the
dealership today. Now
my color debate between
black and SGM has to
come to an end.
I either buy the SGM and
enjoy it or wait a few
more weeks for black onyx!?
Arghh.. I LOVE SGM in the
sunlight, but in the shade/night
it looks a bit like dirty black!?

Get the SGM now: it's easier to clean and you'll have the car immediately.

However, wait for the black if you don't mind the more frequent washing/cleaning. Also, definately wait if there is a chance you can get a discount off the MSRP.

Yeah, the SGM ready now may be a bit easier to keep clean. Plus I've always had a black on black car, figure this could be something different. Of course on the other hand there is NOTHING like a pure black car!? Waiting won't get me anymore of a discount, just a Lexus loaner for a little longer. Oh it hurts. This is my first ever NEW car, so I will likely hold onto it for a WHILE, don't want to make the wrong choice. I LOVE the SGM, then I see a black car and began to debate...

no way. i wasn't the one who said that. I actually love SGM. BO is just as nice too. It's one of those coin tosses where you have to figure out which will be best for you. SGM is the top seller right now so it wont be surprising to see more of them on the road than any of the other colors. My commute this morning to work, I saw 2 brand new IS250s within 10 mins of each other. One was Matador the other was SGM.

I'd say go with the SGM. During the day itll be dark grey which is nice and at night itlll look black so you'll have the best of both worlds?? i have the blue onyx and during the day it looks this way as well. At night or on a cloudy day one would think its pure black which i dont mind at all
