The company selling these chips, Rapid Velocity, seems to exist only on eBay.

LOL it's most likely just another $0.05 resister that forces the cold-start mode. Look at this guy's feedbacks...he's been selling the same thing to owners of many other vehicles. Those owners do report noticeably increased power though.

It definitely will adversely impact your fuel economy by the way.

The price says it all--if you can get 25 hp with a $24 chip, Toyota would've done it already. Or maybe it will be an upgrade for 2007.

For the newbies....there is no such thing as a "chip" mod for any Toyota/Lexus ECU...there never has and there never will. Toyota/Lexus engineer their ECU's to the max. No one has any access to the ECU master coding other than the in houseToyota engineers themselves or TRD/Motorsports engineers. don't let those ebay scams fool you.
